The 3rd annual Usage-Based Linguistics conference, jointly organized by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, will be held at the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on 3-5 July, 2017.

The conference aims to bring together researchers who study language structure and use from a wide range of perspectives (linguistic, typological, developmental, psycholinguistic, interaction-oriented, computational). This year’s special theme is the relation between language processing and language typology and change: how do cognitive biases affect how language is structured and how it changes over time?

Invited speakers: Ruth Berman (Tel Aviv University), Jennifer Culbertson (University of Edinburgh) and Martin Hilpert (University of Neuchâtel).
